このお話は、ぼくがガイコツだったら、みんなを楽しませるのになぁ・・・という少年の妄想です。
しかし、本当はガイコツは誰でも持っていて、なる必要はないのです。何かだったらこうするのになって想像して、結局はみんな違う意味で驚いてしまう。自分のままならみんな喜ぶのにね。
ガイコツ君、今度は夢を語ります。

もし、ぼくがガイコツだったら。
If I were a skeleton.

ころんだってへっちゃら。
I don’t mind, If I will fall down.

すぐにもとにもどるから。

オートバイに乗りたいな。
I’m thinking about I’ll ride a bike.

自動車も運転したいな。
I’m thinking about I’ll drive a car.

ヘリコプターも操縦したいな。
I’m thinking about I’ll fly a helico.

飛行機のパイロットになって みんなをビックリさせる。
And I’d became a pilot of jet plane.
Then I will be a surprise to passengers!

グルンと大きく宙返りをして、みんなをワクワクさせる。

それから、骨形のクッキーをサービスするんだ。

飛行場におりたら、パトカーが来て 大騒ぎになるに決まってる。
If I land on the airport.
A lot of police men will come soon and they will make a fuss!

でも へっちゃら。
But, It’s OK!

「武器を捨てて出てこい！」って言われたら。
If they say, “Throw out your weapons and come out!”

言うことを聞いて 全部なげだしちゃう。
I will obey them and throw out all my parts!

そしたらぼくは いなくなっちゃうから。
Then I will disappear!

もし ぼくがガイコツだったら、おもしろいのになぁ。
If I was a skeleton I will make a lot of fun!
